![]() I have also noticed a big difference in nail damage compared to the acetone soaking and light-curing of gel nail polish. She used to use dip polish on her nails and had told me shed converted over to the Impress Nails and had become a real fan. These last for me about ten days, and at a cost of around $6 for two manicures, can’t be beaten. It was then that I remembered my sister talking about how much she loves the Impress Nails. ![]() Step 2: File the nails down for length and shape if needed. When you are selecting the nails, don’t forget to pay attention to your fingernail beds. I typically figure out a pattern I like and lay the nails out on a flat surface in front of me. ![]() It would cost around $30, and I’d need to go every three weeks. Step 1: Pick the right nail for each one of your fingers. I used to regularly get my nails done at a salon. They also file down like real nails so I can shape them a little to fit my nail shape better. As a teacher, I’m pointing and using my hands all day and these look great. When they are on, they look pretty good from a distance and in photos. Instead of fiddling with a bottle of glue and the plastic nails, these are a peel and stick backing. I love that I can do my nails five minutes before I need to rush out the door, right before bed, or during a break at work. These are the best press-on nails I’ve ever tried and will definitely do them again in the future. The thing that I love the most is that these nails have fantastic nail art designs, but do not have any dry time. I don’t think these are sustainable to wear back to back in everyday life because over time it would probably damage your nails but for special occasions, these are a great affordable alternative. It would be great if you were in or attending a wedding, a photoshoot, or a special event. In conclusion, I really enjoyed these for something different. With a little break from anything on my nails and some buffing, I was ready to go with some regular polish. It did leave my nails slightly damaged but nothing too bad. There’s something so satisfying about peeling fake nails off… I know I can’t be the only one! So once one fell I picked the rest of it within about an hour or two. I’m sure there’s a better more professional way to remove them but I peeled them off. I think I could have gone longer if I made minor repairs to the few that fell off but after 10 days I was ready for something new. ![]() Overall, they looked and felt very natural.Įach Olive and June Press On Nails set lasted about 10 days total. Even during this process, I could feel the nails were very secure. I waited about 20 or so minutes after application to really make sure the glue was dry and then I cut all of the nails down to the desired length with regular nail clippers then I filed them to even the edges. Once everything was on they felt very secure. It was a little awkward after a few nails were to navigate putting the remainder on but I got used to it. I found with the glue I could really control how much I wanted and get really close to the cuticle to avoid lifting. The one thing I liked over the imPRESS set were these were glue on rather than just peel and stick on. By the time I prepped my nails and glued everything on it was probably about the same amount of time. The application process was pretty easy but I’m not convinced it was faster than just painting my nails. After application, they were still too long for me so I did end up cutting them shorter. I got the short length in both designs thinking it would be short enough. Each pack of Olive and June Press On Nails comes with 42 nails in 21 varying sizes and shapes along with nail glue, a wooden stick, a mini dual-sided nail file/buffer, and an alcohol cleansing pad. The branding and designs are what initially piqued my interest and at $10 a pack they weren’t too expensive.
